Season of New Life

Flowers are blooming
Birds are singing
There's laughter and love in the air
I smile as the grass tickles my bare feet.
I look up into my favorite tree
And see a mother sparrow
Teaching her new children to sing
The mare runs with her foal
Just recently born
And the cat teaches her new kits how to hunt.
This season is when we welcome
All the colors that paint our world bright
